Your cat is your best friend and if he/she licks your face, it is the best thing that happens to you. If your cat loves you so much then there are many reasons why your cat licks your face.

Cats are playful and they like to play with their owner, if you are not there with them then they start to search for their owner and if they find you then they start licking your face.

They love to clean themselves and if you have a big house then they will start to use the litter box, but if you are a cat lover and if you have a small house, then you can do this job yourself.

There are many reasons why your cat licks your face and some of them are mentioned below:

1. Cleaning Cats like to clean themselves and if they see you cleaning yourself then they will also do the same. If you are busy with work and you don’t clean yourself, then they will start to lick your face and if they don’t find any signs of dirt then they start to scratch your face.

2. Licking Cats like to lick everything, including the walls of their house. They like to lick their food, their owner and even their toys. But they don’t like to lick their own fur.

3. To play If you don’t have a cat then you may think that cats are lazy and they don’t do anything. But actually they are very active and they love to play with their owners. If you are a cat lover then you will understand what I am talking about.

4. Comfort They love to sleep on your bed and if they don’t find a comfortable place to sleep, they will start to lick your face and if they find a soft spot on your face, they will start to sleep there.

 So, these are the reasons why your cat licks your face. I know that most of the people have pets but if you don’t have a cat, then you can get one from the animal shelter.
